Results from Physical Competence Assessments worldwide keep on coming in. Many of the practitioners who have embraced the PCA process have been sharing their results with me in recent weeks. Some arrived recently from a UK Football League Club that covered their U9 to U14 age groups. Movement efficiency appears to be very limited and the question now arises of 'what to do next'.

The practitioners who now have the results, particularly those in a Radar Graph format, have the start of the required argument for change. I would be very surprised if the 'decision-makers' ignore the results. They are illustrating such a depth of movement limitations that something simply must be done. Some arguments will be won and some will be lost but I am confident that the passion and commitment of the practitioners involved will win the day. Repeating what you have always done and expecting a better result is the first sign of insanity.
